Songsterr: Hearing & Learning Guitar Tabs
For those of you that are just getting into the guitar or atleast been playing a few years, this site is for you. Well hell, I have been playing guitar for around 14 years now and I still really like this site. Its a site full of tablature sheet music for guitar playing. But not only can you look at the tabs, you can play them. And they play like the songs sound.
So if you were in the mood to learn something new that you possibly never heard before, its gonna be alot harder to screw up the way it sounds to your friends when you can easily play it back in various speeds as you learn it reading the tablature. Its not too hard to learn tablature and once you learn that, you can pick up the guitar and just start learning by reading the songs you know. Well with this website, you can also learn to play the ones you don’t know just because some friend thinks it would be really cool if you could play ‘Wish you were here‘ by Pink Floyd. But, please don’t tell me you haven’t heard that song before! That, id say, is a must learn for any guitarist. Great music there! Just great.
Now there is just one downside to this site at the moment (which can be changed through time with updates). The website doesn’t have a huge library of tunes to learn to play just yet. Its slowly getting up there, but Im sure there are ways we can all help. Contact the website if you are interested in getting this thing huge on the internet. I think music should be in everyone’s lives and what better way than to learn to play the guitar right?
